The light on the left is the water in fuel light. I'd check your fuel filter.
The light on the right looks like the parking brake.

On the L300 Delica, the lights are...
  • Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 3.33.38 PM.jpg - Over Temperature in the Automatic transmission
  • Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 3.35.08 PM.jpg - Water detected in Fuel Filter
  • Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 3.35.49 PM.jpg - Parking Brake on
  • Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 3.36.21 PM.jpg - Rear Hatch is not locked
  • Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 3.36.47 PM.jpg - Overdrive is off for the automatic transmission
  • Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 3.37.31 PM.jpg - Low voltage or Battery charge warning
  • Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 3.38.38 PM.jpg - Loss of/Low Oil Pressure warning
  • Screen Shot 2020-07-10 at 3.39.40 PM.jpg - Hey you kids, close the door!

Hope that helps!

Thx for the advice. I been trying Amayama but not have had good luck. I have better luck with mega zip. I will keep trying amayama. There those who say that “if you gonna do all that just install a 4dbf it will be cheaper” what do you think of that advice? My engine only have 43k miles on it.
Would like to hear your experience of not changing all the parts. Thx
Who said it was cheaper to install a entirely new engine?

I am getting ready to order parts to replaced the timing belt from Ayamana. I can not find the Front Crankshaft seal, I already message them. If you know how I can find it please let me know. Can you please tell me what else I am missing on this list? see picture Also can you tell how long it takes for the parts to get to Los Angeles, Ca from your experience.

If i were to dig back into mine i would be getting all this.

Alternator Belts MD112347
Ac beltMB167066
Ps belt MB166411
thermostat MD997606
Timing Belt MD134377
Balance belt MD310484
Water pump MD997618
Camshaft seal MD153103
Crank shaft seal MD069949
Timing belt tensioner MD050135
Timing belt tensioner spring MD140529
Balance shaft seal MD069950
Balance Tensioner pulley MD050125
Balance tensions spring MD050126
Radiator cap MB660171 if you plan on getting yours cleaned and not replacing
Valve cover gasket MD050312
Camshaft half moon MD050536 there’s a metal one somewhere out there. That is recommended. You can probably do a search.

note that the valve cover gasket and half moon are up to you. I bought mine but only just put it in after discoveringa leak. It was nice to have it on hand.
I didn’t replace my cam shaft seal. I have it just didn’t want to pull the gear off. If something developed that one was easily accessible. The crank and balance seals not so.
i might be missing something.
I did this at 7am please remember that free advice is what it is worth. Please double check.
this was a good exercise none the less.

Are these Amayama part number? the numbers I have are different my Amayama water pump # for example is MD972001, the timing belt is MD300470. my engine is 4d56

Amayama changes their format recently but EPC-Data is maybe the easiest to see all the options

You can see there are a few different belts and replacements all for the same engine.
Typically if I see the replacement part is the same I don't worry about it even if the original part # was different. I don't know why the 1993.5+ is different than the 1986-1993. It may be the same but I can't speak to that. Maybe someone else knows on the forum. I would think all the parts are interchangeable but again don't know for certain.

Anyway, you have the list, you can search it out. Take your time, lots to get confused by. OEM isn't cheap nor is the shipping. You only want to do it once.

yes the list is very helpful, I just don't want to wait 2 to 3 weeks to get the parts then they are wrong. I am also trying to get OEM parts as much as I can. If someone have experience getting this list of parts from Amayama please share. thx

Finally, after some fancy acrobatic moves our JB 500 maybe arriving tomorrow. I will be checking if the timing belt need replacement and changing all the fluids. Yes, I will take some picture of the inside to share. I will also be sorting out how inside appliances works. thxhanging.jpeg

The JB 500 is now on the driveway. Could not find a sticker that the timing belt was ever replace, today start the process of replacing the timing belt.
I saw on this forum or the Delica.ca forum of someone who installed 32 inch tall tires on a JB500 without lifting it. Does anyone here know where I can find that thread? thx

Started the job of changing timing belts etc..... Do I need to take out the crankshaft pulley to remove the lower timing belt cover?

You really need to be following the workshop manual step by step, it shows the steps needed to change the timing belts and also covers a couple of little quirks that will catch you out if you're making it up as you go along (like tightening the tensioner bolts in the correct order). Manual "11A_4D56 Engine 1991-93" is the easiest to follow. Here's the "removal" main page:

Screen Shot 2020-08-19 at 08.17.38.png

You dismantle in the order given (step 7: crankshaft pulley). Where a step has a letter (like step 14 has <A>, 17 has <B>, etc.) there will be a note on the following pages that has extra explanation of how to do that step correctly.
Reassembly has a similar list of steps, again with lettered notes (with the arrows pointing inwards so you know it's a "reassembly" note).

For additional real-world pictures of a timing belt change there's a thread on delica.ca, but you should use that as supplementary info only, follow the workshop manual as much as possible.
